Call for applications to the 22nd Spirit of Fire International Debut Film Festival is
officially open. The festival will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk from March 23 to ,

Application form for participants
Applications for the selection of films participating in the film festival’s main
competitive programs will be accepted until January 19, 2024
Not less than 6 feature films, including not less than 1 national film, will
participate in the international (main) competition if they meet the following
requirements:
• the film, completed no earlier than November 1, 2022, should be the
director’s first or second full-length live-action film
• films participating in the international competition should not have been
previously publicly shown on the territory of the Russian Federation;
• DCP is the preferred format for the film in the original language with
English subtitles if the original language is not English;
• film participation in the international competition requires the mandatory
presence of the director and/or starring actor.
Not less than 6 feature films will participate in the Russian Debuts competition.
The film should be the director’s first live-action film. DCP is a preferred format.
