At the opening ceremony of the XXII International Festival of Cinematic Debuts «Spirit of Fire» the best microfilm will be announced. Applications will be accepted until March 8.
Anyone can take part – individually or in a team. There is also a children’s category. You can apply in the «Microfilm Competition» site section.
Works accepted for participation should be in MP4 and MOV file format, not exceeding three minutes, and also should be relevant to the theme of the competition – «Family Values». Applications are accepted in Russian and English.
Until March 11, 2024, the commission will select up to 20 nominees in the main category and up to 20 nominees in the special children’s category to participate in the next stage – People’s Internet voting.
On March 15, 2024, competition entries will be posted on the website of the «Spirit of Fire» film festival. The winner will be chosen by the audience.
An open online voting for the best microfilm will run until March 20, 2024. The expert council will also choose its favorite film.
The winners of the microfilm competition will traditionally be awarded at the opening ceremony of the XXII International Festival of Cinematic Debuts «Spirit of Fire» on March 23, 2024.
