The BRICS countries carry unique cultural codes, traditions and civilizational characteristics. But despite their differences, they have profound historical ties in the sphere of culture and art. Strengthening multilateral partnership in the film industry can become a promising area of cooperation between the BRICS countries, thus contributing to the intercultural communication growing stronger and opening up new prospects for cinema and cultural exchange. Cooperation with new partners will allow us to see the cultural and cinematographic traditions of Russia with a fresh eye. Experts will discuss: international cooperation in the field of cinema and co-production, launching a film education system with the BRICS countries, the value of cultural heritage and national identity as a competitive advantage for these countries, and how creative industries are becoming an important factor in the growth of national economies.
