This year, at the Spirit of Fire festival, a special award will be presented “For preserving the traditions and heritage of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic and the North,” as well as a cash prize of 100 thousand rubles. Applications will be accepted until March 20.
The decision to create a special nomination was made in connection with Ugra’s chairmanship in the International Organization of Northern Regions “Northern Forum” since July 2023.
Authors of debut and full-length fiction and documentary films and film crew members from the regions participating in the Northern Forum are invited to take part in the nomination.
Applications are accepted at Ugra-films@yandex.ru with a note in the subject line: “Special nomination of the Northern Forum”. An application must include the first and the last name, the title of the competition work and a link to the film.
