Vice president
Maria Zvereva is a Soviet and Russian scriptwriter and filmmaker.
Her filmography includes «Lyalka-Ruslan i ego drug Sanka» by
Yevgeny Tatarsky (1980), «Skorost» by Dmitry Svetozarov (1983),
“Zapomnite menya takoy» by Pavel Chukhrai (1987).
Ms. Zvereva is a member of the Russian Scriptwriters Guild and
the Russian Filmmaker Union, where she has held administrative
positions. She has been a vice-president of the Filmmakers Union
Confederation, an organization uniting filmmakers from the CIS,
and a vice-president of the Russian Society of Audio-Visual Rights
Holders (ROPAS).
She has been a member of the European Film Academy since
1997 and served as a jury member of Cannes Film Festival in
1995 Maria Zvereva has been the Vice-President and Program
Director of The Spirit of Fire Film Festival since 2002 to the
present moment.
