We are happy to invite you to a concert by Vyacheslav Butusov and his band “The Order of Glory». Vyacheslav Butusov is one of the main figures of the Russian rock music scene. He has founded such bands as the «Nautilus Pompilius», “U-Piter» and “The Order of Glory». The Russian rock star will give a concert as part of the the cultural program of the XXI International Debut Film Festival «Spirit of Fire».

The musician will perform an emotional retrospective of his most popular songs over the many years on stage. The Big Hall of the “Yugra-Classic” will bethe setting for presenting the musical history of several generations. On March 5 the guests of the “Yugra-Classic” will hear the legendary songs from the new program. It will include such tracks as “The Prince of Silence», «On the Shore of an Unnamed River», «The Last Letter», “The Mother of Gods», «Walking on the Water», “Bound by One Chain» and others.

NAUTILUS POMPILIUS has had a life in its own right, full of difficulties and changes, romance and passions, always striving for creativity.  Dozens of hits loved by hundreds of thousands people around the world, emotions and memories that forever remain in the hearts of those who have walked through their life to the music by Vyacheslav Butusov and lyrics by Ilya Kormiltsev.

The Soviet and Russian rock band was founded in Sverdlovsk in 1982 by students of the Urals Academy of Architecture Vyacheslav Butusov and Dmitry Umetsky (and the first experiments date back to 1978). Butusov was the lead singer, guitarist and composed most of the music, and Umetsky played the bass guitar.

In 1983 the band released their first album «Pereyezd». In 1985 the album “The Invisible One» was recorded. In the mid 1980s Nautilus Pompilius started collaborating with Ilya Kormiltsev (1959-2007), a poet from Sverdlovsk, who has written the lyrics for many of the band’s songs. By the end of 1988 Butusov dissolved the first line-up of the band. In 1989 Butusov moved to Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) and found the new Nautilus line-up there. In 1997 the band ceased to exist.

In 1997 Butusov played himself in Alexey Balabanov’s film «Brother». The film, as well as its sequel «Brother-2″ (2000), features Nautilus’s songs. In 1998 Butusov recorded a solo album, “The Ovals». From 2001 to 2017 he has been the lead singer and composed music and lyrics for the rock band “U-Piter». Since 2019 Butusov has been the lead singer and the guitarist of the rock band “The Order of Glory”.

«Gazprom Neft» has been the general partner of the «Spirit of Fire» since 2007. The company supports the film festival and gives out an annual special award for the best Russian film in the category «For the Preservation of Cultural Traditions».
