In 2005, he graduated from the Rostov State Academy of Architecture and Arts (RGAAI) with a degree in architectural environmental design and worked as an architect for many years. In 2020, he graduated from the directing department of the Moscow School of New Cinema (MSNK, laboratory of Dmitry Mamulia). “Cuba, Marina” is his graduation project and feature-length directorial debut.
