Maxim Dunaevsky

Composer, People's Artist of Russia (2006). Professor of the Moscow State Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky, artistic director of the Moscow Regional Philharmonic (since 2015), president of the festival and award “Musical Heart of the Theater” (since 2021). In 1965 he graduated from the music school at the Moscow State Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky, in 1970 – the Moscow State Conservatory in composition class. During his student years he was the musical director of the Moscow State University theater studio “Our House”. In 1974, the Moscow Youth Theater released the musical “The Three Musketeers” based on the play by Mark Rozovsky and Yuri Ryashentsev, which later became a film that brought the author of the music enormous popularity and popular love. His music is heard in 75 films and more than thirty plays and musicals, including “The Car, the Violin and the Blob the Dog” (1975), “Ah, Vaudeville, Vaudeville” (1979), “Carnival” (1981), “Trust, which burst" (1982), "The Green Van" (1983), "Goodbye Mary Poppins" (1983), "Trap for a Lonely Man" (1990), in the cartoons "The Flying Ship" (1979), "Bang Bang , Oh oh oh!" (1980), “Cat House” (1982) and others. He has released about twenty solo discs. He also writes academic music. Awarded the Order of Honor (2019).
