In the fall, several cities in China will host the Russian Film Festival Days of Russian Cinema, organized by the Roskino company with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the China Film Art Research Center.
This was announced by Roskino General Director Elsa Antonova at the plenary session “Intercultural dialogue and new BRICS+ partnerships”, which was held as part of the business program of the XXII International Film Debut Festival “Spirit of Fire”. “This year, for the 75th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Russia and the PRC in September-October, Roskino, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, is also planning to hold a Russian film festival in three to five cities,” noted Elsa Antonova. Also, the general director of Roskino announced that the Days of Russian Cinema will also be held in Ethiopia.
The theme of the Spirit of Fire business program this year was “The special language of the national cinematography of the BRICS countries,” and representatives of the film industry from India, Iran, the UAE and other BRICS countries took part in the business and educational sessions of the festival. The communication partner of the festival is the Roscongress Foundation.
