A documentary story about one of the most unusual residents of Yakutia - Nigerian Mark Babatunde, who came to the republic following the call of his heart. Anzhelika Motosova is a journalist and publicist. She first tried her hand at cinema, becoming a member of the film crew of the documentary "The Secret of the Vilyui Reservoir", dedicated to the fate of the residents of the village of Tuoy-Khaya, which was flooded. "This is Yakutia, Baby" is the director's first authorial project.
