DAYLIGHT FIREWORKS
Victor’s business is falling into decline. His business partner Weihong comes from China to pull the firm out of the crisis and get his money back. A calm, rational Chinese brings his own order, trying to dismiss ineffective employees, but the team revolts. Deciding to take Victor’s house as a debt, Weihong faces unexpected resistance – Victor’s three daughters are not going to part with their family nest.

Born in Moscow. She finished the Moscow School of New Cinema (directing workshop of Dmitry Mamulia and Ilya Tomashevich and the course of Marina Razbezhkina). Her filmography also includes a short fiction “Open, This is Mom”, which received a Jury diploma at the “Kinotavr. Shorts” competition in 2020, documentaries “Ideal Behavior” (2020), “Cycles of Family Life” (2024) and others. Director of the pilot of the series “Man Enters the Stage”, which got the audience award at the Vision Festival. “Daylight Fireworks” is her feature fiction debut.
