Discussions will focus on issues of joint film production, content promotion, film education, and cultural exchange.

At the XXII "Spirit of Fire" International Debut Film Festival, which will take place from March 23 to 26 in Khanty-Mansiysk, special attention will be paid not only to the cultural and competition programs but also to the business program. Its main theme this year is "The Special Language of National Cinema of the BRICS Countries." Film industry representatives from Russia, India, the UAE, Egypt, Iran, South Africa, and other countries will discuss prospects for joint film production, cultural and educational exchange programs, and the development of national film distribution.

The business program will open with the plenary session "Connecting Bridges: Intercultural Dialogue and New BRICS Partnerships," where experts will talk about the historical ties of BRICS countries in the field of culture and art, strengthening multilateral partnerships, and preserving cultural heritage.

The discussion "Education as an Investment in the Future of the Film Industry" will be dedicated to training qualified personnel—directors, screenwriters, cinematographers, and producers. Special attention will be given to educational programs and the creation of film schools in the regions.

At the session "Filmed in Russia: Regions as Centers of Film Production" participants will discuss how the creation of film commissions has contributed to improving the cinematic climate in the regions and what other support mechanisms could be useful for the industry's development.

During the "Networking Session for BRICS Filmmakers," directors and producers will present their projects in development or production to the expert community to receive recommendations on development, attracting co-producers, and promotion in international film markets.

One of the key events will be the "Russia–Iran" film dialogue. Participants will discuss the place of Iranian cinema in world cinematography, how the country promotes its cultural code, and what prospects for the development of cinematography the cooperation between Russia and Iran will provide.

The final event of the business program will be the discussion "BRICS Film Festivals as Tools for Bringing National Films to International Markets." Experts will examine the potential of festivals as a tool for popularizing arthouse cinema and developing audience culture, as well as discuss cooperation between BRICS film festivals.

The Roscongress Foundation is the communication partner of the "Spirit of Fire" International Film Festival.
