ALEXANDER GOROKHOV

Born in 1969. Started his professional career in the advertising industry. In 2002 he joined Timur Bekmambetov’s team, first as a second unit director and then as a producer and VFX supervisor on the films “Night Watch” (2004) and “Day Watch” (2006). In 2004 he founded and headed the VFX studio, now known as CGF. VFX producer of more than 100 features, including “He is a Dragon” (2015), “The Partner”, “The Spacewalker” (2017), “Tweet-Tweet” (2018, short), “Upon the Magic Roads” (2021), “The Little Mermaid” (2022), “The Wish of the Fairy Fish” (2023), “The Enchanted Tinderbox”, “The Orange Tree”, “The Wizard of the Emerald City. Part I” (2024), “My Pet Dragon” (2025). Member of the National Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Russia and the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
