ALISHER KHAMIDKHODJAEV
Born in 1969 in Tashkent. In 1992 he graduated from the Cinematography Department of VGIK (workshop of A. Knyazhinsky and V. Nakhabtsev). In 1993–1999 he worked at the St. Petersburg Documentary Film Studio. He is a laureate of the Venice Film Festival for his cinematography in the film "Paper Soldier" (2008), for which he was also nominated for the European Film Academy Award. Winner of Kinotavr for his work on the film "To Live" (2011). Laureate of the Nika and White Elephant film awards, nominee for the Golden Eagle Award. He is also the director of photography for the films "Bread Day" (1998, doc.), "The Route" (1999, doc.), "In the Dark" (2004, doc.), "4" (2004), "977" (2006), "Four Ages of Love", "Everyone Will Die, But I'll Stay" (2008), "A Tale in the Darkness", "Petya on the Way to the Kingdom of Heaven" (2009), "In the Style of jazz" (2010), "Anton is Here" (2012, doc.), "Star" (2014), "Lights of a Big Village" (2016), "Arrhythmia" (2017), "Anna's War" (2018), "A Criminal Man" (2019), "The Sun Will Be Tomorrow" (2021), "Who Defeated You No One" (2021, doc.), "Malawi Coin", "Balabanov.
