Ekaterina Klimova
Theater and film actress. In 1999, she graduated from the acting department of the M.S. Shchepkin Higher Theater School (Institute) (N.N. Afonin's workshop). After that, she was invited to the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army for the role of Desdemona, for which she received the Viktor Rozov Crystal Rose Award in 2011. She made her film debut in 2001 in Karen Shakhnazarov's film "Яды, или Всемирная история отравлений" [Yady, ili Vsemirnaya istoriya otravleniy], and her breakthrough on TV was her role in the TV series "Бедная Настя" [Bednaya Nastya] (2003–2004). In total, her filmography includes about ninety works, including "Мы из будущего" [My iz budushchego] (2008), "Однажды в Ростове" [Odnazhdy v Rostove] (2012), "Григорий Р." [Grigoriy R.] (2014), "По законам военного времени" [Po zakonam voyennogo vremeni] (2015 – present). In 2008, for her role in the film "Второе дыхание" [Vtoroye dykhaniye], she was awarded the medal "For Strengthening Military Cooperation" by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. In 2021, she received the Crystal Globe Award for acting at the Yu.N. Ozerov IFF of Military Cinema.
