Born in 1955 in Moscow. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. Laureate of the Order of Honor for services to the development of musical art. Former member of the rock bands "Mashina Vremeni", "Voskresenie", "Arax" and others. One of the brightest representatives of the blues genre of the Russian rock. In 2007 he debuted as a film composer of the criminal drama "Kisses of Fallen Angels". Author of the libretto to Valery Todorovsky's film "Hipsters" (2008). He played several roles in films and TV series. Since 2015 he is an author and presenter of TV program "Kvartirnik u Margulisa" on the NTV channel.
