Born in 1954 in the Primorsky Region. Famous Russian screen, stage and TV actor, radio and TV presenter, producer. Winner of the Russian State Award, three times laureate of the Nika film award. In 1976 he graduated from the Schukin Theatre College, course of Yuri Katin-Yartsev. Played on stages of the Taganka Theatre and the Sovremennik Theatre. He has played more than 130 roles in famous Russian films and TV series, including "Red and Black" (1976), "The Same Munchausen", "The Detective" (1979), "The Return of the Resident", "Look for a Woman" (1982), "TASS is Authorized to Declare..." (1984), "A Man from Boulevard des Capucines" (1987), "Passport" (1990), "Moscow Holidays", "Eagle and Tails" (1995), "Crossroads" (1998), "A Barak" (1999), "My Half-Brother Frankenstein" (2004), "Moscow Mission" (2006), "Gloss" (2007), "Hipsters" (2008), "Hard to Be A God" (2013), "Odessa" (2019), "Here's to You and Us!", "The Master and Margarita" (2023), "The First Issue", "The Flying Ship" (2024), "Bar Odin Zvonok" (2025) and others. A variety of sketches shown in the Soviet humorous TV program "Around the Laughter" brought him great popularity. He was the host of the TV shows "L-Club", "Fort Boyard", "The Hotel", "Golden Rush" and "Garage".
