Petr Shepotinnik – chairman of the selection committee
Director, film critic, TV presenter, publicist. Graduated from the film studies faculty of VGIK, in the 1970s and 80s he worked in the magazine "Iskusstvo kino". He made his television debut in 1988 as the author and host of a column in Mark Zakharov's program "Kinoserpentine". Since 1994 and to this day, he is the author and host of the television program "Kinescope" (now broadcast on the "Kultura" channel).
Author of numerous documentaries about filmmakers and artists (including "Lyrics" about Andrei Voznesensky, "Chronicles" about Yuri Lyubimov, "Herman Today is 122 over 85" about Alexei German, "There Will Be No Others Like Us" about Alexei Balabanov and Sergei Bodrov Jr.), awarded at Russian and international film festivals.
Laureate of the Nika Award (for the film "Khutsiev. The Motor is Running", 2019). Author of video versions of Oleg Menshikov's performances "Woe from Wit" and "The Gamblers". Consultant to the Venice Biennale on film issues.
