YURI MOROZ

Born in 1956 in Krasnodon. In 1979 he graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (V. Monyukov's course) and became an actor at the Moscow Lenin Komsomol Theater, where he worked until 1987. In 1988 he graduated from the directing department of VGIK (S. Gerasimov and T. Makarova's workshop). His directorial debut was the science fiction film «Подземелье ведьм» (1990). Since 1995 he has also been involved in production. Producer of the series «Доктор Живаго» (2005), «Ликвидация» (2007), «Братья Карамазовы», «Апостол» (2008), «Пелагия и белый бульдог» (2009) and others. Among his directorial works are also the films «Черный квадрат» (1992), «Точка» (2005), «Форт Росс: В поисках приключений» (2014), «Лунатики» (2023), the series «Каменская» (1999–2003), «Женщины в игре без правил» (2004), «Дети Ванюхина» (2005), «Апостол» (2008), «Инквизитор» (2014), «Теория вероятности» (2016), «Операция «Сатана» (2018), «Угрюм-река» (2020), «Содержанки 3» (2021), «Я не могу без тебя» (2024) and other projects.
